The Star

The Star XVII

Divinatory Meanings: Triumph, Love, Good Luck, Good Magic, a good person. A lucky person. Affirmations. Finding the way.

Yes or No: Yes.

Numerical value: 17.

Who is your lucky star? That special person who you know will always arrive at the nick of time to save the day? Now think this: if you look into the sky with the naked eye at night, what is the brightest star you see in the horizon?

Venus.

Folks don’t know it, but there “he” is, Lucifer, by some names. Venus by others. If you look up, the meaning of old things becomes apparent, but sadly, most folks are always looking down. At night, guiding yourself, first by the Moon and then by Venus is elementary, as elementary as finding the Big Dipper and Orion’s Belt.

If we all thought as mariners, we would not have to loose ourselves so easily in the infinite laberynths of Karma’s wheel. And yet, here we are, forgetting ourselves over and over to try to fulfill some egoic, absurd destiny which once you let go of such notions, becomes nothing less and nothing more than the light at the end of the tunel.

I told my niece today that one must remember the old names of things. Especially of Gods. Lets see, kids, what can you google about Venus for old uncle Robin? Among the few things I remember in my riddled brains are a certain Venus without head arms or legs, which is still considered by art-historians as one of the most beautiful women of all times.

Finding the way is still being a part of the laberynth.
